Village Chiefs Instructed to Inventory Land Disputes

Every village chief in West Jakarta was instructed to inventory the land disputes in their respective territories. Hopefully, the land in trouble can be used temporarily for public interest while waiting for legal certainty.
If the decision is set, the landowner can use the land, but must move
Mayor of West Jakarta, Anas Effendi disclosed his party is still looking for empty lands that can be used for public interest, such as parking lot, PKL shelter, sports facility and so forth.
Hence, he instructs village chiefs to inventory land disputes thus can be used temporarily.
Occupying Land Illegally, 131 Thugs Secured"In West Jakarta, there are still rampant with land disputes. I ask them (village chiefs) to immediately do inventory," he expressed, Tuesday (9/27).
He cited, such as buildings in Kota Tua that are in dispute, supposedly could be used for positive activities such as art studio, sports and so forth. Thus the building or land is not neglected and wasteful.
Later on, Jakarta Governor is about to make a decree of land utilization. The decree contains land utilization and valid prior to inkrah decision of the court.
"If the decision is set, the landowner can use the land, but must move. But, if they want to sell, we're willing to buy," he finished.
